Would you like to donate items to the library? Do you want to give your books, magazines, or your children’s toys a second life? You can donate it to the Baybayin Library! All of your donations will directly benefit the local community in Siargao, especially its children and students.

WHAT WE NEED

  • Books for all ages,
  • Magazines,
  • Computers and tablets,
  • Toys,
  • Board games,
  • School supplies,
  • Art and drawing supplies,
  • Cookies and snacks for snacks.

THINGS TO CHECK

  • Books and other items must be in good condition;
  • Board games must be complete;
  • Toys must be clean;
  • Computers must be reset and in perfect working order;
  • Food must not be opened or past its expiration date;

HOW TO DONATE

You can drop off your donation directly at the library during opening hours or ship it to us at the library address!

How will my donation be used?

Your donations will be used to:

  • Expand and update the library’s collection of books, toys, equipment, and supplies;
  • Expand and update the collections of other partner organizations in Siargao and on the surrounding islands as part of our book-sharing program;
  • Expand our “Books corner” for visitors to optimize our fundraising efforts, enabling our organization to cover the library’s salaries and operating costs;
  • Provide gifts during events and activities organized by the organization.

By donating materials to the Baybayin Library, you agree that your donation may be used:

  • within the library,
  • redistributed to other nonprofit initiatives that benefit the local community of Siargao,
  • or given away at events, activities, or fundraisers.
